Vasilevsky Descent Square
Vasilevsky descent territory extends from the Red Square to the Kremlin embankment, along the Kremlin wall.
Originally, in the 18th century, on the site of the present Vasilievskaya Square in Moscow located at home. Later, after reconstruction, and formed an open slope. In 1924 a big descent, called the people of Vasilievsky St. Basil's Cathedral, was attached to the Red Square.
Today, as in ancient times, the area is used for a variety of concerts, celebrations and sports events.
